Winter in Portofino

It’s a true milanese tradition: on Friday night, you pack your bags and you leave the city at the speed of light, to escape the fog that grips the Milanese area, especially in the winter. Mountains or the seaside, it’s up to you. Personally, not being in love with the mountains, my destination of choice is always the sea: here some glimpse of Portofino, obviously much more quieter than in the summer but strolling around in a sunny afteroon, it’s enough to defeat all the winter blues. Portofino is easily reachable from Santa Margherita Ligure station (by train, 2 hours from Milan): you can take a bus (3 euros) or walking (4 kilometers of scenic road)
